Tehillim

Tehillim groups take place on a regular basis in Sydney and Melbourne.

These groups meet on the Sunday morning once a month which is the day after Shabbos Mevorchim. (Shabbos Mevorchim is the Shabbos which occurs once a month when we bless the Jewish month entering in that coming week.)

The meetings are from 10am - 11am. Booklets from a set of 24 books are passed around, each containing 8 pages of Tehillim (psalms) in both Hebrew and English, so the reader can chose the prefered language. When the group has read all 24 booklets, the entire book of Tehillim has been completed!

The Tehillim are recited for the merit of people in our communities needing blessings for a speedy recovery.

In addition, each woman who participates in saying the Tehillim, because she plays an integral role in the completion of the Book by saying her part - without which it would not be complete - earns the merit of having said the entire book herself!

Women are invited to attend whenever they are available to help out.
